A couple of pictures from the van Dam organ from 1869 in beautiful Zoetwerwoude in the Netherlands. The pedal board has only 19 notes (C - g) - which is a very interesting experience -, but with minor adjustments, it is still possible to play certain pieces by Bach (Pièce d'Orgue and Schmücke dich), Muffat (Toccat septima), Reger (Introduction and Passacaglia in d) and even Wagner (Pilgrims' Chorus from Tannhäuser, arr. by Liszt).
The organ has five 8' stops on two manuals, which allow for a magnificent, gradual, crescendo in Reger and Wagner, and the Dulcian is a wonderful solo stop for Schmuecke dich... Looking very forward to the concert tomorrow night!
